Had everything could ask for
Barry - 20th July 2019Family holiday with three kids under 5 was a bit tight when it came noise and on the last night went to use washing machine and it would fill or drain so had to was some cloths items by hand after emptying the machine out with plastic cup
Excellent
Paul - 21st March 2019Stayed in unit 414 for 9 days and it was excellent. Not one single complaint. Great location close to the water, pelican feeding, lots of great restaurants and shops within walking distance. People of the Entrance couldn't have been nicer. I didn't do any of the traditional sight seeing this time but Sydney is just an hour and a half train ride and it costs next to nothing to ride. I'll be back next year and for years to come. Thanks for a great first taste of "Down Under"
Very poor standard
Michelle - 12th March 2019From all the places that I have stayed this was the far worst. Firstly it was advertised through bookings as Linen & towels provided, resort has heated pool & spa. The pool wasnt heated at all & the spa wasnt working either, there was some maintenance problems with it & we were told it should be fixed soon however it wasn't from friday till sunday. The property is managed by Century 21 & they were kind enough to offer us an early check in at 1pm however the linens had to be picked up from the real estate at 3pm & you have to make your own bed. Quiet expensive for linens & towels especially when you have to make the bed yourself. There was no fitted sheet either, just 2 plain sheets provided. Never have I ever had to make my own bed at a hotel, motel, apartment or holiday houses. If I had known earlier that we had to make our own beds, we would have brought our own linens, infact wouldn't have booked this property at all. There was only 1 blanket in the property even though there were 2 beds( bed & sofa bed) & I had enquired about it prior to make sure that we didn't have to bring our own. As I was on crutches & had already gone back to the agent to collect the linen I couldn't walk back to collect the blanket so the property manager kindly arranged one & dropped it over which was really nice of her. Among 3 of us we had to share 1 key & when we asked the agent for another set they said they'll follow up with the owner & call us back in 30mins, well that never happened. On Saturday we called the agent to inform that the dryer didn't even work & also followed up about the keys, however the property manager wasnt there on a sat & luckily the kind receptionist arranged for another set of keys through the resort. As the maintenance person wasn't available at that time, she sent one of the work colleagues with a screw driver. He checked the dryer out & said this needs to be reported to the owner, he mentioned there was dryer issues at few other units within the resort & hopefully they could send someone to fix it, that didn't happen either. Also the fridge kept making loud noises day & night but extremely loud at night, we had to constantly get up to adjust the temperature so it could stay quiet for few minutes. After experiencing all that, we requested the agent for a late check out instead of 9.30am in the hope we could at least enjoy the spa & pool for one day & you would think it'll be fixed by than. The receptionist totally understood & was extremely kind to offer us a late 12.30pm check out unfortunately the spa still didn't work & neither was the pool or spa heated. On sunday morning we received an email from the agent stating check out is on Monday at 9.30am. We weren't sure if they offered us an additional night due to all the issues or was it an error so we contacted the agent & left a message to clarify. We also checked with the resort directly & they didn't know anything either & told us to contact the agent. We couldn't stay another night anyway due to work, however if that was offered we could have checked out later in the evening & made most of the day at the beach as the weather was absolutely perfect on Sunday. As the agent was closed we didn't receive any call back so we did the right thing & checked out on time as we only booked & paid for 2 nights. We were so in need of a nice relaxing break & mainly went away for a friends birthday, unfortunately it was such a hassle & bad experience that we felt so bad that her birthday weekend away was all spoilt especially when she was really looking forward to relax in the spa & pool for weeks. Honestly I would never recommend this place to anyone. We stayed at the Oaks Waterfront at Salamander Bay last year & that was such a beautiful property with best hospitality that we thought this would be the same, think we thought same name so same standard.
Ok but needed some repairs
Wazza - 21st December 2018The apartment was ok. The dryer door though needed maintenance as it turned it off and only worked when door is pushed. The toaster brought the whole power down and had to be fixed by finding the switch box which is hidden in the bedroom. One of the two lifts also broke down and it took a day and a half to fix during which we used the stairs.
Enjoyed our stay
Jade - 26th November 2018Lovely space to stay at the entrance We enjoyed it
Great stay
Jade - 2nd November 2015Easy planned trip, great help with century 21 for helping me book my stay! Perfect spot
Great location
marie - 13th September 2015Always love staying at the Oaks. Room was good, however the pull out wasn't very comfortable. Could feel the springs when lying down, a thicker mattress may be better. Other than that loved our stay.. But may get a room with two double beds next time..
Good place.
frankofsydney - 22nd September 2014The place is good, quiet, convenient, clean, comfortable. And good swimming pool and spa. No services, less instructions, need time to get acquaintance. And good car park to improve your drive skill.
